Hi folks Id like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along last night and made the open mic a fantastic night to remember amongst many we enjoyed great performances from John Pepe who treated is to his own compositions on piano sung brilliantly by Georgina Donatantonio, joined by a bunch of jammers for their finale... (we hope the videos will be shared in the group very soon :) The Legend that is Eric gave us Bob Marleys I Shot the Sheriff and No Woman No Cry . Paul Francis Morea contributed both on guitar and later showed us his drumming skills are developing rapidly.. we love the jam helping musicians push their boundaries.. stepping out of their comfort zones.. Dave Cox of SOULTAX fame joined in on several sets notably bringing his friend Victor who made his debut public performance - we hope you will become a regular sir... The divine Jordan Jacksons commanding stage presence silenced the audience so that a pin could have been heard dropping when she changed he mood singing her lovely self penned numbers from the piano As always a great performances from John Hoare Witchy Oxo of The Haunting A.D. both on their own set and backing many others... these guys run a bi monthly open mic themselves Raw in the Room (open Mic) Steve Mead came late and played with George Taylor and several other sets developing a rarely seen sweat! The grand finale saw Joe Angel with too many performers to mention all grooving along to stir it up and 3 little birds apologies for anyone else i havent mentioned.. there was also a lovely set from newcomer Sean Kelly (for some facebook glitch reason it wont let me tag him despite him joining the group) https://facebook/sean.g.kelly.7?fref=ts
