Hi guys Ayo Olowookere Chima Emerueh) I suggest that we do something different and major this year. I am not so sure if we have the luxury of time but we can make do with what we have. Here are two ideas; 1. Sponsor a kid(or kids) - We all know how important education is. Why dont we look for a family in areas like Maroko and sponsor the kids education or kids from random families. They probably attend public primary schools so the cost per annum wouldnt kill us. We can get an estimate of all relevant costs including school fees, uniform, books, weekly allowance etc for a kid per year and decide how many kids we can sponsor and for how long. 2. Help the Internally Displace Persons (IDPs) in the North - I understand that thousands of people have lost their homes and properties in the Boko Haram insurgency and they are now in various camps across the state. The tens of thousands of women and kids could use our help. I am not suggesting that we go there but I know couple of individuals who can help us deliver relief materials from Lagos. All we need to do is ask what they want ( toiletries, clothes, books etc), buy them and pay for transportation. Let me know what yall think. Nigeria needs us BR/ Adedammy
