Hi guys Foster mom Lori here, this was one of my very special Foster babies last year! And when I say special I mean it in every way possible! He was born with a deformed foot but that didnt stop him, he touches the hearts of everyone he meets and at only 1 years old he has been told he has cancer. This lil boy does not deserve this, so I am asking for your prayers and if you can spare a couple dollars to donate to his care to help him get well hopefully cured of this horrible monster! A note from his mom: As we drove 5 hours from Salem Mass to New Jersey through a snow blizzard in the middle of december, all I could think about is how much this little pup needed to be in my arms. The moment we locked eyes I knew he was going to be the light in so many peoples eyes. Calvin was going to be the dog that we called family until he was old and extra wrinkly. He beat a number of odds in the year he has lived. From being born with a deformity to escaping a kill shelter in NYC. He was fortunate enough to find warm loving foster parents that saved him and gave us the opportunity to be part of Calvin’s life with us in his forever home. Just weeks after celebrating his first birthday on August 18th, we had received the worst news any pet owner could get, We were told that Calvin has cancer. The doctors have confirmed that a mass has been growing in his chest and it was indeed cancer. It didn’t take us long to decide that we were going to do everything in our power to try and cure Calvin of this horrible disease. As many pet mom and dads know, pet insurance providers don’t acknowledge these types of conditions and we are left to find a solution for funding his medical needs. Since September 6th we have already spent over 2,500 towards Calvin’s medical bills in just over a weekend and that is just the beginning. My Fiancé and I have started a this fundraiser to help cover some of the costs for calvins medical bills. 100% of the proceeds will go towards calving medical bills and chemo therapy, giving Calvin the life he deserves. gofundme/calvinscure
