Hi man name is Grace. I am a one year old pitbull. A few months ago I was very close to death. My previous owners had put a collar on me when I was still a young pup and never had the decency to take it off. It had embedded 3 inches into my neck and 12 inches across. I was walking down the road with my owner when some animal lovers spotted me and saw what was wrong with me. They new they had to do something so they pulled over and spoke to the man I was with and begged them to let them take me. He agreed as he said he was taking me down the road to dump me anyways. The nice couple rushed me to the vet. The vet said it was a miracle I was still alive, my wounds were badly infected and I was so very exhausted. I had surgery to repair my injuries and I am all healed up and being fostered by the couple that saved me.My story even made fox 5 and 11 alive news. I am now looking for my forever home now. Unfortunately I dont like cats or small dogs but I love medium and large dogs. I also love kids of all ages. I am chipped and utd on shots. If you would like to give me a forever home please contact my foster family. There will also need to be a home check to make sure I go to a good home.
