Hi, my name is Ashley Liew. I’ve been nominated by my (Sherman College of Chiropractic) classmate Nate Walton to do the #ALSIceBucketChallenge. Robert Blais and Mary Ann Blais, I’m doing this in memory of your son Jon “the Blazeman” Blais, who conquered the 2005 Hawaii Ironman (World Championship) in 16h28m56s, despite being diagnosed with Amytrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) just 5 months before that. He touched my heart and he was a big inspiration towards my training for the 2 Ironmans that I subsequently did. In the words of Jon “the Blazeman”, the meaning of life is to live life. So here’s to LIVING LIFE! I hereby nominate Christopher Collins, Dr Jennifer Grower York (D.C.), and John Haslett to do the challenge. Love you all!
