Hi peeps, as well as making pew pews happen with Tech Assault Laser Skirmish I also run a kids technology club twice a week. The kids choose any technology related project they like and through self learning and assistance from me we make cool stuff happen. The kids are between 8 and 12 so we try not to make things too complex. I have no experience in robotics but want them to get hands on with that if they choose. Wanted to ask here if you would recommend a good entry point for really young kids. Lego Mindstorms or Lego WeDo seem like the most popular but are quite pricey. Newer options ive seen include https://store.play-i/? and MOSS gizmodo/moss-robotics-toy-review-the-easiest-way-to-build-your-1601317868 Having the added option of them programming behaviour via Scratch or Blockly would be an added bonus, I know MOSS allows this.
