Hi, this is Baret Lepejian, owner of Lucys 51. I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who made Lucys a truly special place to hang and hear some of the most amazing musicians in LA. I want to especially thank (in no specific order) James & Angie Lomenzo, David & Ray Goren, Retha Petruzates, Bobby Hurricane Spencer, Mitch Marine, Ed Roth, Neil Zlozower, Abry, Chuck Wright, Denise Herrera, Jamie Hodes, Gilby Clarke, Phil Chen, Cynthia Romo, Joe Retta, Chas West, Brian Tichy, Brent Woods, Gene & Ann Kirkland, Dave & The Crown City Bombers, Troy & The Dick Pistols, The Jazz Butchers, Michael Frazee, Phil Soussan, Toledo, John and Gene Pisano, and the great Robbie Krieger who played Lucys 3 times. I want to thank Rosa and Deborah and the rest of my staff that put up with my thinking that I was still 20 years old, like i owned my own bar and could drink whatever i wanted and as much as i wanted to, and listen to loud, blistering music every single night.
