High intensity interval training. By far the most efficient form of cardio there is for improved body composition. It does not take long either which is a bonus! Last night it took me 40 minutes including a warm up and cool down. 30 minutes of work : 2 minutes of high intensity sprinting with 1 minute of recovery. For the 2 minutes of work you need to make sure it is all out - heart lungs and legs should be on fire! Do this 2-3 times per week max for optimal fat loss paired alongside a progressive lifting programme. There is no need for the long boring steady state cardio sessions!
