Hiked the Cooks wall trail at Hanging Rock State park today. Moderate my butt but I made it. Half way up I sweating an huffing an puffing I found a nice big rock in the shade an laid down to rest an cool off. I was so quiet. No car sounds. No people sounds. Just Birds and the wind rustling the leaves. Took me a short nap then headed on up the trail. The trail which goes straight up and is nothing but rocks allllllll the way up. Got to the top enjoyed an amazing view rested an started back to the parking lot. Damn rangers must have moved the trail behind me cause i swear it was UP HILL all the way back to the parking lot. Desperately in need of a leg transplant mine are gonna fall of anytime now.
