Hilferuf an Alle, die Hilfsmöglichkeiten an der Küste Italien haben The Relief and Human Development Syrian Foundation NAJDA NOW INTERNATIONAL calls for urgent assistance upon all the countries located on the Mediterranean and specifically to the Italian Government and the Italian authorities to intervene with their humane duties to rescue a large sized boat that carries 109 Syrian refugees on board including children and women "trying to illegally immigrate" who are on the verge of drowning after being subjected to a storm and high waves causing water to leak inside. Please note that the last contact with the boat has been cut since 19:44 where the connection was with a passenger on the boat through his mobile phone of Thurayya network. The boat was set on sail on Wednesday from the Egyptian Coast towards Italy. The last signal was caught around 300 km from the coast of Italy. We, the Relief and Human Development Syrian Foundation NAJDA NOW INTERNATIONAL, call on the Italian authorities to take their urgent responsibilities to save the lives of the passengers on the boat as a humanitarian duty guaranteed by international laws and conventions without any delay.
