Hint #5 - FLEAS - Those of us who have pets, know what a nuisance fleas can be, especially during the Summer months. Heres a hint many people arent aware of. Take an orange, and poke holes in the skin. Roll it around in your hand a couple times, to release the orange peel oils. Take your pet outside on the porch, patio, or other area, and rub the orange over his or her coat, paying more attention to the problem areas such as behind ears and neck. Do this for approximately 5 to 10 minutes, dont do this indoors, because as soon as the fleas get the orange oil, they will drop off your pet, looking for another place to hide, including carpeting, and furniture, and the next animal to cross their path. You can also boil orange peels, put the liquid in a spray bottle, and spray your pets bedding, as well as your own household items.
