The position works within the Revenue Management Department. The Revenue Analyst is responsible for maximising revenue of the airline by controlling flight inventory in response to different levels of passenger demands. In this role, you will interpret large data sets while applying your market knowledge on assigned routes. Specific responsibilities includes daily management of flights through inventory control, analysis of relevant booking data to maximise revenue and constant awareness of competitor activity and price strategy. You will ensure that optimum settings for demand forecast, price elasticity and seasonality are set in the revenue optimisation system. You will be responsible for the production, maintenance and issuance of regular reports to all levels of the business. You will interpret and evaluate route performance and competitor activities and make recommendations to improve the airlines strategy.About You: We are looking for dynamic and passionate individuals with excellent commercial, analytical and communication skills that are focused on results and work well under pressure. You will be a high calibre graduate preferably in mathematics, statistics or economics with demonstrated ability to successfully manage and deliver projects. Knowledge of revenue management theory and technology particularly forecasting and optimisation is a definite advantage. You must have worked in business intelligence applications and have good knowledge of data management tools and systems.
