His Majesty King Mohammed VI chaired a session devoted to discuss the various aspects associated with the problematic immigration ----------------------------- Casablanca , 10/09/2013 - Male communication to the Royal Court to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him , he presided Tuesday at the royal palace in Casablanca, working session , in the presence of the Prime Minister and a number of ministers and senior officials, devoted to discuss the various aspects associated with the problematic Immigration , on the horizon formulate a new comprehensive policy to immigration issues in our country . The author added that His Majesty the King said , on this occasion , that Morocco has become the ground for the reception of migrants , has doubled , for example , the number of immigrants from sub - Saharan countries, four times. Morocco also known recently started a new kind of immigrant , because of the repercussions of the global economic crisis , most of them from Spain , then France and other European countries. In this regard, His Majesty the King need to resolve their status , through to the relevant authorities , the procedures relating to their stay and occupations يزاولونها , just like legal immigrants of other nationalities , including sub-Saharan migrants . The author pointed out that as what it takes to receive immigrants from the potential to provide the appropriate conditions for their stay and to enable them legally resident of job opportunities , and the reasons for the economic and social integration , and decent living conditions , Morocco can not receive all the immigrants it. However, the number of illegal immigrants, says the author , known as a noticeable increase , mostly walk in Morocco from the east and south of the country . The author pointed out that if the management issues of illegal immigrants , sometimes known as some of the excesses that remain isolated , it is not there any systematic use of violence by the public forces . So, Morocco categorically rejects the allegations that are trying to connect the management problems of illegal immigrants with violence and violation of human rights immigrant, in a desperate attempt to touch the reputation of Morocco. In this regard , it has already issued a King , more than once , instructed the Commissioner of the competent authorities of the need to respect the rights of migrants and abide by the strict application of the law in dealing with them and to provide assistance to those who want to return to their home countries and treated like all Moroccans , without discrimination. His Majesty also stressed the need to continue to address the firm networks smuggling and trafficking in human beings. He also noted the author that, during the same meeting, issued Majesty, may God protect him , directed the High Commissioner for the government to accelerate the development and activation of a strategy and action plan suitable , and coordination in this regard with the National Council for Human Rights and the various actors involved , in order to develop a comprehensive policy and multi-dimensional migration issues in our country , which would provide for Morocco real Aqtrahih force in this area and can play a leading role and effective regional and international levels . He concluded the author that this royal initiative , which fall within the framework of Balance heritage of Morocco as a country for the hospitality and reception, embodies engage strong and connected to His Majesty the King in the protection of human rights , in accordance with the requirements of the Constitution , and in respect for the rule of law, and in line with the international commitments of Morocco.
