His temp was cool as a cucumber today but counts have been zapped so Kashius is out of school for the entire week. We are sure it is probably a good thing with all the nastiness going around right now. His oncologist has given the ok to forgo the last two chemo doses (pills) he was supposed to take so although we never had a THIS IS YOUR LAST PILL ceremony, he is happy to be done. Dairy make absorption of chemo pills not work as well so he hasnt been able to have dairy at night for the last 3 years. He is thrilled he can now have ice cream at night! We are hoping that by next Tuesday he is fully healed and his counts come back up....not having anymore chemo in his blood should begin to help...such a strange feeling to not give pills. I think I am going to start popping a chocolate every night to fill the void :-) Thank you all for your kind words and prayers. If you dont own stock in LEGO, you should buy some before I have to go back to Toys R Us tonight. #keepyoursenseofhumornomatterwhat
