History was made on Sunday past when our Senior team won the Intermediate Championship and so will progress into senior football for the first time next season. The team were pushed all the way by a determined Urney side but prevailed at the final whistle to win on a scoreline of 2-9 to 2-5 to spark scenes of celebration. Congratulations to all involved in this momentous win and thanks to the great support that turned out in large numbers on Sunday. Reserves won against Edendork by 1-12 to 1-8 and now play Rock at home on Saturday at 3pm in the Quarter final of the Reserve Knockout. League action resumes on Sunday with away matches to Stewartstown, reserve throw in 1.15pm, seniors at 2.45pm. Training for P1 and P2 boys continues on Saturday morning from 10am to 11am in the Community Centre. Training for P3 to P5 boys also continues on Saturday morning from 10am to 11am at the pitch. This weeks lucky lotto draw will take place in the Town Bar on Sunday night at 10.30pm; lotto collector this week is John McCarroll. Last weeks lucky numbers were 6, 15, 17 and 21. There were three Match 3 winners; Cathal Quinn, Niall McCann and Brenda Hackett. Jackpot this week is £1,600.
