Hmm..what was I doing 16 years ago? Ah, yes: I was experiencing the purest form of love for the first time. Alexander Cain James Mascal was far from his current, cool 62 self and was lying comfortably in my arms, looking like a cross between a rebellious young Marlon Brando and a wise old monk. I knew I was blessed that he chose me to be his momma and that Id love my lil man more than he would ever know. I also thought soon after what it would be like when he turned 16, the age I was at that time..now were here and while I love who he is, I kinda wish he were small enough for me to hold him safely in my arms again. ~Happy 16th Strong, son. I love you the bluest! Im looking forward to getting to know the man you grow into over the next 16 years
