Hmmm, I read the FOX8 story about the child being spanked. As a mom, I have the right to discipline my child as I see fit. This parent had the same right. Now, I do believe I would have taken my child to a restroom, to avoid unnecessary embarrassment, but I do not understand why Mrs. Brown is being suspended. She had no right or obligation to stop a parent from parenting. Im sure some of you will agree and some will disagree, but there seems to be some crazy motivation out there to make every little thing into something huge and then finding someone to take the blame, ripping up someones reputation for a measley news story that only makes everyone mad. Whatever the school board hopes to achieve is null. They just showed a world of children that they only have to respect their parents and other elders if society agrees with their actions.
