Hmmmmm The secret to success with men and women is tremendous respect for each others differences. When we lack respect, we experience conflict instead of joy. In a similar way when men and women in relationships feel compelled to "fix," "manage" or control one another it breeds emotional fatigue and lack of authentic, meaningful connection. Instead of fixing and changing one another, love calls us to acceptance. Acceptance is the only sure foundation for healing, growth and inspired change. Love calls us beyond the limits of our understanding and our selfish attempts to make others "behave" as we would. Love calls us to support, nurture, validate and seek to understand our partner. When we lack understanding we welcome struggle, when we seek understanding we welcome peace....
