Holy Moses...Sylinda drove like a Trojan again today as we covered over 500 miles from the deep south Texas country. I got a little spooked yesterday morning when I had a lightning like flash occur in my right eye. We called my Opthomologist in Abilene, Dr. Richert, and he was ready for me when we arrived at 4:10 pm. After close inspection he determined that I did not have a detached retina, a possibility, or any other eye issue of note except for 63 years in the Big Empty. So with one dilated eye, I sat in the passenger seat while Sylinda drove me on home! I can tell you that Dr. Richert is one fine Opthomologist and a down to earth ranch type fellow to boot. He is a good Texan and my friend!!
