Home again safely after 10 days and a 2000 mile trip with my dear friend Barb. We did some unexpected sight seeing (got lost several times) and saw wonderful fall trees in Ct. Spent a day sight seeing in Mystic, CT., after our two days at the Stitchers Gathering Retreat(in Mystic). Walked the beach on Marthas Vineyard, where I played as a child, and picked up seaglass and shells. It was just Barb, myself and the beach and water. Visited the Vermont Country Store in Weston, Vt. and saw some wonderful small New England villages. Went to Victor, NY to have brunch today at the Chit Chat Cafe(found it last year) where they have wonderful food and homemade breads. They are closed on Monday! Drove around until we found another wonderful place to eat with homemade pies. Its always hard coming back to reality.
