Home from Baltimore after a tough day. The news is not what we - TopicsExpress

Home from Baltimore after a tough day. The news is not what we hoped for, but hey, no one ever told us this was going to be easy. There are some new tumors in the liver and in the lungs. The main tumor in the lung has grown a little, so progression is the word we are forced to deal with once again. The good news is, we have more options and we will spend the next several days circling the wagons and studying the options and the pros and cons of each. I continue to be amazed and inspired by this beautiful person that I have the unbelievable privilege of walking through life with. She took the news today like she knew it was coming and had a fierce look on her face that gave the impression that she was ready to go all Jersey on this beast once again. My words here can never truly give you the proper understanding of how strong (emotionally, spiritually and physically) Donna is. She is my heartbeat, she really is. I will quote Donna here, Its not the best news, but its not the worst either. Our 3 babies (James, Corinne and Tyler) are understandably shaken and I ask you to keep them in your thoughts. Theyre mad and they have every right to be mad. They (and we) are going to take a standing eight count tonight, but were going to keep fighting and tomorrow we will continue this battle and take it up a notch!! Keep the Faith.......WE GOT THIS!!
