Honestly, most of the live performances Ive been to in SL have been either 1) standard acoustic folk or 2) (often laughable) singers warbling to a prerecorded backing track. But there are exceptions. I think the most interesting part of the video is the sense of connectedness and community one can develop with an international audience even when one is geographically isolated. Are we going to see populations slowly returning to a more rural existence? At least those who primarily work, shop and play online?
