Honey baked roast chicken. 1 chook ½ cup white wine 3 tbs Onion stock (or pkt French onion soup mix) 3 tbs honey Sliced leek - white part only Salt and pepper Oil and butter Veggies of choice Salt and pepper the chicken. Heat oil and butter in pan. Brown chicken and remove from pan. Add leek and brown. Add honey wine and onion stock or soup mix. When begins to bubble add chicken back and veggies. Then add to slow cooker. Cook low 7 hrs then finish in the oven. My slow cooker pan goes on the stove top and I. The oven do this works for me. You may want to change to suit your cooker. Will serve with roasted potatoes and peas.
