~ Honey from a Tree ~ It certainly is interesting to see how many different understandings the people of God have concerning scripture, the nature of God, and the events to come. Most are likely wrong in their understanding of some of these things, even though holding tightly to their opinions. It is good to be confident in our understanding, but let us not consider ourselves superior to those with differing opinions, for we have nothing good that has not been given from Above. May we not become angry or unduly impatient with others who differ with us. Such attitudes would and have split the body of Christ into bits from the fleshly point of view. Yet there is only one body of Christ, and all who are in Him are members of it, whether we agree with one another or not. How God, through Christ, makes any headway in a body that is pulling constantly in different directions is a marvel, but we serve a marvelous God, dont we? ~ N. DeLaHunt ~ 3/15/14.
