Hong Kong Update, 1/13/2015. More cultural uniqueness of HK. I have talked previously about the minimal number of places for one to sit down in this city and where there are benches there are always some dividers (obstructions) to prevent people from laying down. Yesterday I saw a NEW way of preventing people from sitting down. If you look closely at the second photograph I hung my unbrella on the deterrent so you could see it. They have woven steel wires strung the whole distance where this perfect place for one to rest is, on this long walkway. If you look at the first photo the wires are very difficult to see, but they are there. A very creative city even if it is, in my opinion, negative creativity.
