They supported us and guided us during our time of needs and have been a shinning light. They have given us so much and made lifelong memories. They have done an outstanding job and deserve more than we can give them. Sometimes it is hard to pinpoint the appropriate recognition that would be truly meaningful. What you might not have considered is a lifetime membership in the James E. West Fellowship. James E. West was the first Chief Scout Executive of the Boy Scouts of America for 33 years. The James E. West Fellowship is a recognition program for $1000 gifts made to endowment ensuring that the Pine Burr Area Council will continue to offer the outstanding programs we now have and allow growth to meet the future needs of our youth and communities. Your donation of only $1,000 can honor your Eagle Scout with a James E West recognition gift. These gifts can be pledged and paid over several months as long as they are paid in full by December 31st. Your honoree will receive a certificate, a knot for his uniform, and a lapel pin. We all want Scouting to benefit every youth, family, and community in the area, but expanding the scope and vigor of Scouting’s programs will require more resources.
