Hooray!!! Weve just had the best news this year, Lanas tumour has been zapped... Its no longer showing up on her MRI scans!!!! We will not give up looking for alternates treatments incase the beast returns... The next 2 years are critical. They also said she has no swelling and her shunt is working well so no excess fluid on her brain. Wahoooooo. Lana was sick twice yesterday, we know this isnt caused by the tumour so is possibly nerve damage which could last months, years or forever .... We need to discuss this with the consultant and see if we can have an alternative treatment to steroids - they come with awful complications and side effects. We still have a huge and terrifying journey ahead, but today is the first day in 7 months where I can look at my daughter knowing she doesnt have a tumour in her brain!!! Now, stay away you ugly beast and leave our little girl alone, allow her to grow up like a toddler should... She doesnt need you in her life!!! Our next scan is October, were watching you. xx
