Hope everyone enjoys my business cards. My daughter is constantly giving me words of encouragement and inspiration to get out there and market myself. She says to me Mom you are so multitalented, you went to college for 6 years, made the deans list, graduated with your masters, you are an awesome writer, you have grant writing skills, you enjoy statistics, I believe you would be very successful at starting your own business! So you had a work injury that had set you back a little, just because your faculty director refuses to accommodate your light duty restrictions doesnt mean you have to accept their temporary disability program. Mom you are worth more than that, youve studied and worked wayyyyy to hard to stop here, I think you should get you some business cards made and get back that ZEST and ZEAL that you had prior to your injury, you cant allow your employer to dictate your future. So I went to Marks printing and they assisted me with designing some business cards, and I love them! A few weeks ago I attended a meet and greet some influential business owners seminar. I passed out my business cards, learned how to network, and got invited to attend future events in the St. Louis and Chicago areas. All I can say is Im grateful to my daughter Tiffany for her words of encouragement that Mom I believe you will be great at whatever you do,@ and my daughter Natoddsha for constantly pushing and involving me in her business plans. This has given me the inspiration I need to continue on with some of the goals I have set for myself! #1futuregoal: regain my independence by saying goodbye to disability!!!!
