Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday Monday! We are now half way through our player profiles which means we are getting closer to the Orange Crush season opener! Today we take a look at another important player: Andrée Lamarre #10 (LW/C) With a positional shift in the previous season, Lamarre has really been able to find her game playing on the left wing. Always looking to attack, she has been given the opportunity for more scoring chances. Although Lamarre has often found herself in penalty trouble, she more than compensates for it with her eagerness to get pucks to the net and her gritty playing style in the corners. While mostly known in the past for her slap shots, Lamarre is coming off a season that also highlighted her play-making ability which can only mean trouble for opposing teams in the coming seasons. As she enters the third season of her 5 year deal, look for Lamarre to continue to be an important piece on the OC bench.
