Hope had another great follow up at the Clinic today. Dr. Boyle is very happy with how she is doing medically and in therapies. Jerry got there last night and went to the appointment with her. He is also going to the family meeting today where they will discuss her progress and goals. We are still hoping she can get out in a month...21 days now. I really want her to be walking and eating when she comes home, but with flu season and this new virus, I just prefer her being home. We got a room change today as well. Dad is the lucky one...always getting the room changes. I noticed a few rooms on infection control the last few days and I think the unit we are in has decided I am too annoying about the possibility of infection. Yes, I am a germaphobe and make sure everyone is clean before they come in the room. I also dont want a nurse that has been in a room where infection may be present. I dont care if they mask and put kn a robe...it is not good enough for me. Anyway, Jerry said the room is smaller but I dont think that is possible unless we are in a closet.
