Horse Heads... the locals call them Horse Heads. Theyre - TopicsExpress

Horse Heads... the locals call them Horse Heads. Theyre everywhere, as are trucks carrying crude oil, and slurry, and gas. I had a good talk with a 71 year old local who said that 168 hours a week, theyre moving, it never stops. Money is no object. Gas is 30 cents more per gallon. Everything is ultra-expensive. Lots of cash to go around. Its indescribable how workmen live, or sleep, in containers of all kinds, wedged anywhere they fit. Seven 12-hour days can make a man a lot of money out here. Lots of white pickup trucks with crash-barrier grills (youd have to see it), and Halliburton and all of the others are here. I dont like it.
