Hot August Wheels and Deals Saturday The Amery Community Club is hosting the annual Hot August Wheels and Deals this Saturday, August 17, with a wide variety of events, starting at 9 a.m. The Soo Line Park Pavilion will be the site of several events, starting with the Farmer’s Market and Art Fair, which runs from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Tac Two will have a beverage bar at the pavilion from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. The Niff-Naffer Band will provide live music at the pavilion, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Sidewalk sales will begin at Amery businesses at 10 a.m. and run until 4 p.m. Cars, trucks, tractors, motorcycles and bicycles will be on display from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the pavilion. Radio Shack is hosting a Car Stereo competition at their business from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. The Congregational Church’s Block Party, with free music, dancing, food and kids games, will be held from 3 p.m. until the food is gone at the Congregational Church on Harriman Ave.
