House clearance, found these items, though I’d give you the opportunity to grab a bargain (and save me the 250 mile round trip and auction fees ) they will be going to auction at Layburn , end of feb if not sold on here. Don’t know much about them apart from, there old and as far as I know require no licence as they are I believe “antiques “ and the auctioneers “estimates of value, I will describe them as best I can, please feel free to ask any questions. This item is a “Flintlock “ Blunderbuss/coach gun with an overall length of 26 +1/2 inch (675 mm) ,the bell end of the barrel is 2 inch. It has “London “ marked on the top of the barrel, and a makers name “Stirk “ on the side of the lock, allomg with some other marks that could be proof marks, please examine the photos ,and if you want close ups of a particular area , pleas ask and if possible I will oblige, The auction estimate for this item is £300 -£550 , Best offer within that region will take it I will only sell this to a person I consider suitable to own such an item i.e no spotty teen agers, no one of “No fixed Abode “ Proof of age/ id may be asked for
