How Romantic is this piece , from my personal hoard I am pleased to offer this to consider . It is a wonderful Antique all Sterling Silver { with the exception of the cloth lining } Ladies Calling Card Purse. On one side it has what looks like the intials MGF and on the other side the year 1905. It is fully hallmarked with Sterling and the letters C.B. & H. this is the hallmark used by Codding Bros & Heilbron from North Attleboro MA , they were in operation from 1879-1918. The art work is in very high repoussee relief in sweetly romantic Flowers. Now unlike today a Lady did not need much upon herself when she went calling or visiting. As was costume she would leave behind he won unique calling card and this Purse case would have been perfect for carrying them. What a wonderful true antique to use today as you wallet or to display and enjoy. Asking price is $475
