How about this bullshit? I have a lifetime warranty on a Magnaflow muffler which needs to be replaced but the warranty stipulates that it MUST be presented to the service outlet from which you originally purchased the muffler. That shop is out of business. There are no other authorized shops closeby according to their distributor locator. The only place nearby who sells Magnaflow is AutoZone who wont replace it. I called tech support and they want me to BUY a new muffler at AutoZone, have it installed, send my old one to California to be inspected, IF they approve the replacement they will send me a new one (which at this point I wont need) The guy told me that I should take it to AutoZone for a refund. How is this fair to AutoZone? Since their warranty does not cover labor for the replacement, who cares who does the work? How is this fair to me to ask me to do all of this extra work? #Idiots I dont think that I will be recommending Magnaflow to anybody!!!
