How can I bore you...let me count the ways! Its time for the traffic detour tip of the day. I have so much more to share but as of late, its difficult due to the amount of traffic information I need to share. As you all know, I lie awake at night concerned about your commute (no I dont). Sgt. James Buckaroo Buckley gets the traffic updates and then sends them to me. It is a process that takes some time due to the spam filters on the BPD mainframe (Commodore 64). Here we go, please be quiet in the back so everyone can hear! Tuesday 09-23-14----Outbound traffic on Main Street near the Police Department will be diverted to Summer Street onto Railroad Street and then access Main Street. There will be NO traffic allowed on Cedar Street from Main to First Street. Inbound traffic on Cedar (downhill) will be diverted down First Street to access Main Street for OUTBOUND traffic. If you didnt understand any of what I have written I will give you a synopsis: Avoid Main Street near Bangor P.D., Cedar Street, Railroad Street or Independent Street. Go about your business on other routes through our lovely and historical city. Thanks so much for heeding this advice. The flaggers have done a heck of a job out here over the last month. Think about what they are going through when you pass. Buy them a coffee, snacks, college for their kids. Dont be so cheap. It is a tough job!
