How can the government shut down? Many, many people rely on social security, myself included. There should be a way to fire the ones responsible and have an emergency election to replace the rich, unaffected cry babies who are as bad as terrorists, for doing this. Ive called my representatives offices to try to voice my opinion. Believe it or not, what they are doing is legal! I believe we are now the Un-United States. We are supposed to be UNITED. I believe all of those responsible should feel ashamed of themselves for trying to undermine the President whom we the people elected twice! Is this a rich against poor country? The poor,elderly, and disabled non-veteran people are the ones effected by this action. Also, the government employees who are now out of work. When I called my representatives offices and spoke to interns about my concerns. Interns were the only people I could talk with, as the regular secretaries are no longer working thanks to government shut down. I called the supreme court to see if they could intervene. I was told I needed to put my concerns in writing and was given an address to snail mail it to. I apologize to the few rich people who actually care about everyone.
