How can you help?!!! Guyana has never had good governance!!! At least not for any protracted length of time. We began great, with our successful bid for independence and all, but then we took a terrible turn for the worse. Yet it seems like none of our leaders is willing to break away from the atrocities of the past. I get the impression that the demons of our former leaders still haunt this current pact of politicians. No one wants to accept that we as citizens of this county were dealt several wrong blows by our previous leaders. No one wants to admit that we are still very racial (even in our churches), in the way we interact with each other - thanks to our leaders! No one wants to admit that if we keep the current style of governance, we will be right where we are for another 45 years. When the PNC is in power, the PPP hates the constitution. And when the PPP is in power, the PNC says that they are not applying the constitution correctly, and that they must get in to show the PPP how to rule. We need change! Guyana needs help!! We either have to get rid of both of the ancient parties or agree on shared governance. This stalemate; this financial and developmental gridlock, cannot and should not be allowed to continue. We are too intelligent, Godly, honest and hardworking to allow a few persons to continue to jeopardize the wealth and well being of this country and its citizens. Our future and the future of our children necessitate that we do something. How can you help?!!!
