How can you know if you do not even try 2 Kings 7:3-7 Now there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate; and they said to one another, “Why are we sitting here until we die? “If we say, ‘ We will enter the city,’ the famine is in the city, and we shall die there. And if we sit here, we die also. Now therefore, come, let us surrender to the army of the Syrians. If they keep us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall only die.” And they arose at twilight to go to the camp of the Syrians; and when they had come to the outskirts of the Syrian camp, to their surprise no one was there. For the Lord had caused the army of the Syrians to hear the noise of chariots and the noise of horses- the noise of great army; so they said to one another, “Look, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians to attack us!” Therefore they arose and fled at twilight, and left the camp intact-their tents, their horses, and their donkeys and they fled for their lives. Have you notice in life when all hope is gone and you have your back against the corner then God comes through for you in a mighty way. Look at these four men by medical condition they were lepers and that meant they were outcast, no one wanted to associate with them and on top of that in the land there was a severe famine and the land was under a military siege by the Syrians. Just think about it you are not physically well you and your friends, no one wants to help you and the country you live in is about to be attacked. The only option you have is to die in the land which is barren and no one cares about you or you can go to the camp of your enemies and hope they will show you mercy because they have food and proper shelter but since you leprous chances are they will chase you are way or kill you because you come from their enemies country. That was the dilemma this four men faced but because hungry had besieged them they found it sensible to go to the camp of their enemies because there they could find food which they did. But God had other plans for when those four lepers at twilight went to the camp of their enemies to find some refuge he anointed their steps and that army heard a might sound of a huge army coming against them and they ran for their lives. Thus those four men found plunder and spoils of war in a way they had all the food they wanted and they called their countryman later on to see the victory God gave them through the least of the people because they acted out of bravery and through their initiatives lives were saved and blessing fell to the land of Israel. Maybe like this four lepers you might have your back up against the wall and it seems like there is no hope for you. Do not despair for greater is he within you than the one in the world because today he says, “That you desire that will benefit you and others through you like my servants the four lepers, go for it for my grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”You never know really many people have missed great opportunities because they were afraid to try but today we learn no matter what your situation might be if you take a noble action that will bless you and make you a blessing for others like this four lepers God will back you up mightily even hell itself will flee from you because the foolishness of God is wiser than man and he take despised things of this world to shame the wise for time and chance happens to them all like this four lepers they were possibly the weakest people in the land but God presented an opportunity for them to be blessed and become a blessing to others and it was so. He who has ears let him hear says the Spirit of the Most Highest God.
