How can you say goodbye or r.i.p. to someone who was so part of you life growing up since you were a young child, someone who made you feel laughter, joy with their incomparable hilarity, plus a vast range of emotions???? Someone who in your mind was immortal because his genius and brilliance was so utterly unique? Someone larger than life?!?!?!?! Its impossible to think you are gone! I worshipped you since I was only 8 when you were in my favorite show, Mork and Mindy. I loved all your movies, not just the amazing funny ones but your fabulously intense dramas and even your less successful ones like Toys (one of my all time favorites) and even Bicentennial Man. Loved all your Comic Relief shows where you left Whoopi Goldberg and Billy Chrystal in the dust with your high energy, mind boggling antics. We Marin-ites have lost one of our own but the world has lost the most genius comic mind there ever will be and a truly kind soul. It was such a treat to see you riding your bike over the years in and around Tiburon. But when my nephew got me tickets to see you up close and personal at the little Throckmorton Theatre in Mill Valley as you practiced your new material, the experience was so delightful, incomparable, and fascinating, I could never describe it! I have never laughed so hard and for so long before! I was looking forward to experiencing that again someday! I have never felt this kind of heartache for the death of anyone who was not a family member, and never will again. My heart breaks that he was in such mental anguish that he had to leave us in such a way. One who brought utmost joy to millions, departs in such an utterly despondent way. Nanu Nanu sweet Robin, I cant bring myself say goodbye, I cannot bring myself to accept the planet has lost such joy forever!
