How do you do a family tree when you dont know who is the other branch as your parent? I guess it could be labeled THE DEAD BRANCH . Mine comes to a halt to trying to get the daddy side. All I want to know is what he looks like and what kind of person he was or is. Thank goodness for my grandparents( neither are blood) for raising me most of my life. Blood is not thicker than water.Thinking about trying the Ancestory that tells you where your from by your DNA. A friend of mine did this and it had him perfect- 97 percent Poland. Yep.. it was accurate. My moms side traces back to the 1800s and they immigrated into Pennsylvania. But I cant read where they immigrated from. Farmers and blacksmiths
