How do you feel about Public Spaces that are funded by businesses? I dont even own a dog but, when I came across these photos of a Dream dog park located in Newton Park, Johns Creek, Georgia, I had to smile. I love the fire hydrant water feature for washing off doggie paws.. And offering tunnels for shade is never a bad thing.. But, more often than not; these types of dream public spaces are being funded by businesses (in this case Beneful Dog Food). Some say its simply commercialism at its worst.. Others say they dont mind the commercialism if it provides an opportunity for an amazing public space... So, how do you feel? With the new animal bylaw going into affect in September and a newly proposed, public dog park near Servus Place being developed; would you support a business sponsored dog park? What about other public spaces?
