How does it feel to jump from an airplane? PARTII I wont lie. I was pretty relaxed and chill. I felt like I was made to do this. All the images of me being a paratrooper in the marines, Serving the beloved Corps and partying with my soulja-boys The Expendables 3 style in a tavern where i would be showing off my tattoo which I got after my 60th kill flashed in my mind. In my head Ride of the Valkyries song was playing. Romeo Niner Alpha to Capitane. Charlie in large numbers. Our aircraft under heavy fire. Dropping the cargo behind the enemy lines. Oh man I was so pumped up...............And then........the rear doors of the plane opened.............. A strong gush of air burst in. What the f!@#$ am I doing here? was the first thought in my head then, While I was engrossed in my daydreams and the beautiful scenery outside, our plane had reached the jump altitude. The rear side door was open now. You could feel the cold air against rushing in bringing the smell of petrol fumes from the planes rotor engines. You dont feel scared of heights until you are made aware of the height. and the open door did just that. I could see the clouds whizzing by at incredible speed and i could immediately feel the the depth of the drop. From the windows on one horizon I could see the majestic North Shore mountain range and further ahead, where I could see a beautifully huge mountain which I had never seen before, which eerily looked like Himalaya. On the other horizon I could see the vast expanse of the city that was Vancouver, British Columbia. Put your goggles on and shimmy up said Joe his harness now hooked to mine. I saw people jumping out of the window and disappearing. In an instant. I was up next..............
