How is World War I being remembered where you are? 2014 marks the 100th anniversary since the beginning of World War I. Australia and New Zealand remembered their WWI war-dead at a moving dawn service in Villers-Bretonneux, France on ANZAC Day, Friday, April 25, where many of their countrymen fought. More than 6,000 people paid tribute to those who have served and died in subsequent conflicts and those still fighting on the front-line.
