How is everyones long weekend going? Action packed i hope, I love this time of year for fishing we have such a great variety of angling options available. The larger braided rivers have become the main focus for myself over the last few weeks with the last couple of freshs. The rivers will have some salmon around. Whitebaiting is ticking along with the Rakaia mouth having some great catches some exceeding well over 10lb in a short time. Malcolm Bell, Darian Shaheen,Chris and Matt Jones have been out on the water catching outstanding trout on fly and spin methods and the condition factor of the fish has been outstanding. Very Shortly we will be starting the Complete Angler Salmon Comp once again with a bigger and better prize pool this time round.
