How many insane ideas and contradictions can you find in this proposed fix by Troy Lakey? First... Cut spending. Eliminate a handful of Government agencies I/E IRS, EPA, BLM, downsize our Government. Mandate every corporation to pay taxes, no lobbying or back scratching. In doing so lower the corporate tax so that they can hire and grow. Cut and eliminate mandates and regulations that benefit the few. Im for a flat tax, make everyone pay their share. Lower payroll and income taxes. The rich will always have money, help the middle class. I would try to control the welfare system, we all know its broken. Help the ones that really need help and weed out the bad apples that ruin it for everyone. I would allow drilling oil, natural gas, and allow fracking. We have an abundance of natural resources, why rely on other countries. Bring down oil cost and bring down virtually every cost. I would stop funding foreign countries and stop funding any moronic research and development. Pull every one from Afghanistan and Iraq and not waste another American life. We did what we needed to over there. We can still recon and use air strikes if needed with satellites. We need to protect our own country and the flair up of Al Qaeda, Hamas, Isis and the Muslim Brotherhood. To much is being spent on independent contractors that pad the politicians pockets. We need to beef up our military again because it is being dismantled. I would protect our borders and not spend a dime on illegals. I would still conduct immigration legally which could be funded by sponsors, non-profits and communities. These are just a few things that I would do to try to turn the economy around. Eliminate the IRS and then make sure everyone pays their share of taxes? Cut taxes but increase military spending which already is half the budget and equal to what the next ~15 countries spend combined. Isolate ourselves, but we must fight to protect ourselves from ISIS, Al-Qaeda, etc. ( Close the border because thats where theyll come in of course. ) Thats just a few of the ideas he has that make no sense and dont hold up when we start to get factual on his talking points taken straight from conservative radio.
