How will you view a man who produces yam yet still have to buy pounded yam? Its either he is not having mortal and pestle, or his mortal and pestle are defective. Possible solution: either to fix the defective mortal and pestle, or buy new ones. This may require time and saving. Therefore promises will be made and the family that rely solely on pounded yam as their main meal will endure till the promises are fulfilled. If after enduring for a long while, the situation is still the same, no repair of defective tools and no purchase of new ones. Then the credibility and sincerity of the head of the family is called to question. This illustration try to paint the scenario of our petroleum industry and Governments position.
