Howdy folks, Fellow Dirty Old Men M/C member Mike ONeil and Lisa Oakes are hosting the 2014 Southeast Motorcycle Dirt Track Racing Association (SEMDTRA) Season Awards Party and Annual Meeting at their home next Saturday, January 17. Since the Dirty Old Men M/C is long overdue for a gathering, Mike has invited us to take advantage of the setup and check out some new additions to his man cave by getting together at his and Lisas place at 6:30 that evening. He has also asked me to invite those who regularly attend the Brit Bike Breakfast Club. Mike writes, We will be hosting in the afternoon the awards and annual meeting for our flat track racing association. The gathering for those interested in vintage motorcycles starts at 6:30 PM. We may or may not have a substantial amount of food left over from the earlier gathering. I suggest picking up something light to eat before you arrive and there will at least be some things to nibble on while you are here. The Pepsi machine will be up and running at the cost of a nickel. If you want something other than soda or water you had better bring that. Please join me in thanking Mike and Lisa for there generous hospitality. By the way, if you are not a SEMDTRA member, but would like to attend their Season Awards Party and Annual Meeting, you can do so by paying $10.00 at the door. The gates open, at 1:00 P.M., come and socialize before we eat if you like. Food will be served at 2:00 PM. The awards and door prize presentations will begin at 3:00 PM, followed by the annual meeting and election of officers. Business should conclude about 4:30 PM, and folks are welcome to stay and socialize. I look forward to seeing all of you there about 6:30 PM.
