Huh.... GRL Book Signing Rules Process for marking Pre-sold Books, Books sold during the retreat, Promotional Copies to be given away by Authors or Publishers AND for Books Readers have brought from home: All books will need to be stamped with an invisible ink stamp created specifically by GRL before being brought into either book signing during this years event and it will be the sole responsibility of each individual attendee to ensure each of their books are stamped. Each day in the hotel Lobby/Atrium (or any other area approved by the hotel), GRL will have volunteers set up at previously specified times so readers who have brought books from home or have purchased pre-sold books can get their books stamped prior to the book signings. These days and times will be noted on the Official GRL Schedule which can be found on the this website (upon release) as well as the program each attendee will receive at Registration. PUBLISHERS/READERS: Andersons will be stamping all books sold from the booksellers room at the time of sale. ABOUT THE BOOK SIGNINGS: Volunteers will be set up at the doors during the book signings to check for the invisible ink stamps – any book NOT stamped prior to the book signings will have to be paid for before they will be allowed to be removed from the convention center. It is up to each reader to get their books stamped before bringing them into the book signing. Any and all bags will need to be opened for volunteers prior to exiting either book signing and all books will need to be checked for invisible ink stamps, signifying they have been previously purchased. NOTICE TO ALL READERS: If your book does not have a stamp, you will have to pay for it, regardless of whether or not you already purchased the book. PLEASE make sure to get your pre-purchased books stamped before taking them into either book signing. We will make sure you have multiple opportunities to do this throughout the week.
