Hull election 2014: A Labour veteran beaten by UKIP says he has no complaints after 26 years on the council. Former Lord Mayor David Gemmell said he had had a good run. UKIP polled over 25% of the vote, compared to Labours 41%, but won just one seat, in Southcoates East.
